Item ordered because Revain description says "Made in USA". Just received today. Felt cheap, flipped the scale and saw a "Made in China" sticker there. To return.

Good scales for the price looks good on the counter. It's lightweight and looks like it should last a very long time. I only get about three pounds of tomatoes in the trays that come with the scale, so it's a bit of a pain, but other than that I have no complaints.

Another Chinese junk. Right out of the box, the bezel literally fell off, sending the transparent plastic dial flying. Try as I might, I couldn't get him to stay put. The weighing mechanism appeared to be very rigid and when weight was added to the weight the needle did not move until 1 pound was added.

While it may seem large/chunky in a small kitchen, if you have the space to keep it on your countertop you can enjoy the classic look and easily access it for accurate measurements. If you're looking for a scale that can be hidden away when not in use, this might not be the best choice. I wish I had bought this scale. I am a potter and weigh varying amounts of clay from 1/2lb to 10lb. Every time I put something on the scale it always returns to a different starting point, so no consistency. If you're weighing heavier items and accuracy isn't an issue, this might work. I read a lot of reviews about different scales. Almost everything seems to be garbage these days. I ordered this one, basically just betting I'd get one that worked properly. The shipping box is undamaged, the box with the goods is undamaged. When I took the scale out, everything was carefully wrapped in cardboard and plastic so as not to damage the cardboard.
