The clip itself is very nice and well made. As other reviewers have said, it's smaller than expected, but it's perfect for my needs. I downgraded my rating to 3 stars because the split ring that came with it has very sharp edges. Sharp enough to cut or scratch your hand when put in your pocket. I had to use sandpaper to round off the edges of the cut so the ring was safe to use. Edit - added image

I understand why people who use EDC are so fond of them and call them Danglers. I use them to carry around a small flashlight on a AAA keychain. Attaches to the edge of your trouser pocket and then hangs the flashlight on the side. You really can forget it's in your pocket, it's so unobtrusive. Also works well with small pocket knives without a clip. Yes, there are cheaper versions, but they cost extra money. More durable but mostly smoother with no sharp edges.

My box of Revain arrived today. There are other items in my box, and I almost miss the little snap-on wrapper that sits on the side of the box. It's a tiny 1.5 inch clip - smaller than the average wrench. Attached is a (missing) image that I would like to include on the product page so you can get an idea of the scale. I understand the idea that there isn't a large clip sticking out, it's just too small to be practical. Thirteen dollars for this little piece of metal? I don't see the value.

I recently added something to my EDC keychain. But my keys and wallet (I carry it in my front pocket) tended to get caught at the bottom of the bag, whether it was jeans or pants. As mentioned in some other reviews it is small. However, it is perfect. The whole point is to reduce the footprint in your pocket. I've transitioned from a big ol' no-climb D-ring carabiner to this one and I keep having to check to make sure I still have my keys. It fits perfectly.
