Works like clockwork

Bought by accident. Wanted to go back to get the correct RAM but decided to upgrade my daughter's old HP laptop. Went like clockwork.

Cons

Just what I needed

RAM installed for the first time but it was fairly easy to get in and out of a Macbook. A bit confusing maybe for a moment but once you restarted your computer everything was fine.

Pros
  • Computer components
Cons
  • Style 90

On my mid 2012 iMac on High Sierra 10.13.6

My old 2011 iMac started to run slowly, the beach ball started spinning and was practically unusable, but I remembered that the RAM was pretty could have easily been upgraded so i watched some youtube videos to see how to do it then i tried to figure out the max amount of ram this old machine can hold and people seemed to be saying, that it could hold 4 sticks of 8GB so I just said let's do it. The biggest tip for installation is to remember how the old ones came out and then just "push harder"

Is working! Cheap! best in computers and accessories

I bought this to upgrade a fanless PC from 2G to 4G (didn't want to pay extra for 8G as it runs a Linux server). "For Macbook" got me thinking, but the RAM already installed in the PC had the same 10600S label and the pinout looked correct. And it works fine; few weeks of uninterrupted work.

Pros
  • memory
Cons
  • mostly good but...
