I returned it for a refund

I returned it for a refund because the description didn't mention that the suction cup was coated with some kind of sticky adhesive that would make it impossible to remove the mount from one spot to move to the other. I was planning to use the mount on my RV's windshield but transferred it from there to a towed vehicle when I wanted to drive it to see the local attractions. I'm not sure what would happen if I tried this, especially if I tried repeatedly.

Broken suction cup

This holder holds my phone perfectly. It was comfortable and safe. I liked the convenience of the magnetic holder. It wasn't a problem. However, after a year of use, the suction cup no longer works to hold it to my car. There are many sticky materials attached to the suction cup, which have both advantages and disadvantages. I'm not sure if the suction cup ever did anything, probably the glue did most of the work. Since the glue doesn't last forever or can get dirty, this is a big disadvantage…

You might want to skip this one!

I've used other Tech Armor products in the past and they've been pretty good so I went with this one but you might want to skip this point. Pros: Looks great, small and slim, and sticks to your car's dashboard very well. Cons: It's weak, the phone is always on the move, and it's not meant to be used with larger phones like the iPhone 8 Plus. Also, the magnet isn't strong enough to be used in most cases unless you have a very thin case. We've tried a few different options in our house and…

Tech Armor's magnetic car mount is impressive in terms of both the material and the workmanship.

I bought this smartphone mount because Tech Armor uses four N45 NEODIMIUM magnets instead of the more common ferrite magnets used in some magnetic phone mounts. Neodymium magnets are also known as "rare earth magnets" and Tech Armor uses N45 in this holder. Without going into scientific terms, neodymium magnets in this category are rated from N35 to N52.
