Got this to replace a full tool set I had and it's great. Small items are easy to reach, big items are easy to reach and feel so natural because they are shaped like a pen. caps like my blades.

When it came out I was looking for a vinyl weeding tool called a pin pen. You might think it's just an ink pen with a blunt needle end so it doesn't matter, does it ? No, that is not so. This thing is so cheaply made that it doesn't retract when you click on it and isn't good at weeding small pieces. A real pen grip is of course only $2 more plus shipping, but it looks a lot stronger than this thing.

Love this tool. I can't believe how easy it is to remove small pieces of vinyl with this tool. Very small circles came off with ease, and especially when I used it to pick up tiny bits of vinyl that were on the sign after painting over it, I didn't scratch the wood underneath the vinyl like I did when I used the weed hook. . I also like how the spring seems to give me more control and is comfortable to hold compared to a weed hook. If you work with vinyl and cutting machines, this is a must…

I absolutely hate weeding vinyl after cutting it with my Cricut Explore Air 2 BUT. This weed pen makes it less if it aggravates my condition. The pickaxe separates the negative bits from the design more easily than branded weeding tools, and the sticky rubber on the other end picks up those little tricky bits, as well as the larger bits that can get stuck to the mat after removal. Never enjoy the process of pulling weeds, but having the right tools for the job goes a long way.
