So far, so good. - Power & Hand Tools

PRO:1. Has a huge range of different sizes.2. Comes with so many bit combinations.3. The mini set in the core set is awesome, use it all the time. CONS: 1. Another "plastic case" that wears out over time.2. There is no way to upgrade to a metal case.3. DO NOT THROW IT, it will open and scatter everywhere. Not all items, but enough. OTHER: 1. Love this kit, works great and is great value for money.2. BUY if you need a wide range of drivers for all types of power tools.3. DO NOT buy if using this

You can't argue for that much money, but read on

I opened this case and thought to myself. Wow, it literally has it all, and it really does. Small electronics, safety bits, standard pits, this can't be beat for $25. They may have the best guarantee in the business. If you break it, they will replace it, not the original owner, whatever we replace. The only issue I have is that only 4 bits are S2 tool steel, the rest are CR-V. It's not bad, but I'd like more S2 steel, but obviously that steel is very expensive, so they use CR-V. Overall I am…

Nice little shop.

For the price this is a great deal. I've used them many times over the past few weeks for various applications. All here. They have large bits for heavy items like furniture and small bits for things like glasses and electronics. The case they come in does a great job of keeping all the pieces in place so they don't fall apart if the case is dropped. .I can't confirm the durability of these things as I don't use them under rigorous conditions, but I really don't see them breaking easily if you…

5-star customer support and a great selection of bits make this item 5-star.

I bought this set about 2.5 years ago. It has a wide range of bits and is great for odd jobs that require an unusual screwdriver. I only need them every now and then, but having them prevents a lot of frustration. I recently used a T6 and had the tip kinking and warping when tightening the screw. The metal was too soft and not properly hardened. I was about to write a negative review but re-read some of the reviews and realized they have great customer support so I gave that a try first and…

Tekton doesn't make quality tools

Nothing that belongs to me or my brother from Tekton can be described as "quality". Their stuff works and is good for the price (which is pretty cheap to be honest) but I don't think this brand should be anyone's first choice. I even prefer Kobalt or Husky tools to anything I own or have used from Tekton. If you need to buy something locally and cheaply, get something from Harbor Freight, at least your return should be easy. Special about this product: the case is fine, it holds the bits in…

a little for everything. except the triangle.

The kit has everything you need except triangular bits Would be 5 stars except for the lack of triangular bits, (-1) the bits are a bit brittle (-.5), I wouldn't trust any power tools except of the largest , and even hand tools wear out when not actually used. (regular Phillips) However, this is a set for odd sized screws that you don't use often but will need one day, so durability isn't that important for everyday use (who doesn't know you, you don't have a set of Phillips screwdrivers to use

4 years later best screwdrivers and wrenches

I bought these in 2017 because I was fed up with 1000 hand tools for small jobs. I didn't expect to like this little box so much. Over the past few years, this has saved me more trips to the store than I can remember. I've used it for everything from gunsmithing to computer assembly. I recently redecorated my whole house and the only problem I had was that someone else always used it when I needed it. I only have two complaints. First, bits tend to rust in wet environments. Tekton may have…

The best selection and best price of any screwdriver set I've seen.

I saw this a few years ago and got really excited because sometimes I need some really weird parts. Before purchasing I called their support team and told them I have 3-4 random bits (can't remember which ones) from the set that are either cut, cleaned or broken. They asked where to send spare bits; I confirmed they would not charge shipping or ask for bits to be returned, then explained that I just checked their policy and that they passed. Then I bought one. I've used it for computer hardware

Zaphod Beeblebrox Approved!

I bought one of these as a birthday gift and I liked it so much I bought it for myself. This thing has been heavily used and used to replace Kindle batteries, work with RC cars and trucks, and repair computers. there were problems with the beats. None of the parts in the kit let me down. I'm just thinking that tightening a fastener no bigger than a grain of rice doesn't take much effort, so I just calm down. This is of course easy if you are tightening the clasp, but if you are removing the…
