In general the product works but it is too wide. I tried and tried to get it trued but couldn't get the tread to not stick out over the edges (very easily). See image. I've used one of these flexible ones before. can return to them if that is a problem.

I upgraded from a Garmin 60 to a 64st. In the past I've used a case (not sure if the terminology is correct) that has a plastic cover for the screen. I found this annoying and difficult to see when hiking, especially in inclement weather. The tempered glass screen protector has solved this problem - much easier to read the screen. Easy to use - really no problem.

It works great with a very clear view and although it could get a scrape or two from the trail it protects the Garmin GPSMAP screen and comes in a pack of 4 for replacement if needed. I highly recommend this item! Although the older GPSMAP 60 isn't listed, it works for them as well. The GPSMAP 60's screen shape is slightly different from the newer versions, but this screen protector protects the 60's models without modifications.

Installed on my Garmin Astro 430. Same unit as model 64 but with the addition of a dog for GPS tracking. The installation and installation kit works very well. The screen corresponds to the edge of the factory GPS screen. Everything seems fine, but here's the bad news. The edges are square cut (no chamfer). This makes them very prone to chipping. These screen covers work well. Haven't used them long but they install well and seem to do the job. I do have one complaint about this though, I have a 64S and 64ST and both have a tread that is too wide and sag to one side. This can become a problem at some point, but there were 4 covers in the kit, so I will probably change them more often. All in all, if I ever need to buy more I would see if there is another brand that fits better than this one.

Excellent screen protector. If you're not careful, it's difficult to line it up correctly. I installed the first one and it was a little crooked. It drove me crazy so I installed the second one. Fortunately, several of these are included in the kit. I wish there was a template you could put on the device to help you align. I think it would help a lot. Once installed it looks pretty good. This screen protector is essential if you use your GPSr anywhere it can be damaged, almost anywhere. My first pack saved my screen a few times, although unlike what the photo shows they aren't bulletproof lol. These are GREAT screen protectors and a must have if you've spent over $200 on a Garmin handheld. The included wet/dry cleaning wipes are a handy addition and placing the glass on the cleaned surface is easy. It makes sense to do a trial installation as you want to make sure the device is stable for applications and of course in a dust free environment.
