Used for hard boiled eggs, pinto beans, soup mixes etc. I bought this specifically for lasagna. I scoop up the meat sauce and drain most of the liquid sauce. My lasagna will never runny like this! I am happy to write this review.

I ordered this for a specific purpose but I have used it regularly because it is so well made and so useful for so many purposes. I highly recommend. I've used it to remove bones from bone broth, clams from gravy, and chicken pieces in a casserole. It works well for so many.

I am disappointed. The neck portion of the handle is a long semi-cylinder contained within the round cylindrical base of the handle. The back of the half cylinder is sharp enough to cut your fingers. Not a good design. I have to be very careful to only hold the round part of the handle.

Update: I would like to update this review to say that shortly after I posted my 1 star review the management team offered to refund my money , and said that he was surprised by the poor workmanship of the two spatulas that I received.
