This is my second purchase. After about 6 months of use, the first one started working before it stopped working completely. Then I bought another one, thinking the first one was probably just a bad batch. The second one just stopped working after 3 months. I liked it when it worked, but I think the electronics just aren't good.

Wow, I wish I'd known about this sooner. I pour gasoline into 5 gallon cans when a hurricane approaches. This makes it easy to get almost all of the gas out of those 5 gallon cans. Filling up a car with gasoline is much easier than a 5 gallon can. I have used with 3 different vehicles and have had no problems pumping gas into them.

As some other reviews have noted, this "TERA PUMP Multipurpose AC/DC Pump" is poorly made. It's very cheap, especially the thin plastic tube. Only used 10-12 times (no maintenance) and now out of service - Confirmed the unit has power but the pump motor is not running at all. I'm not sure how other users of the product have given positive feedback - I may have gotten "lemon" but I highly doubt it. I say don't buy!

I thought this was the answer to not having to lift the petrol can to fill up my tractor anymore. I found that I couldn't put a gas can on the ground and fill up my tractor with it, it just didn't pump that high. I placed the glass on a stool about 18 inches high and it emptied. Total fail! Doesn't swing. The engine runs but will not draw fuel from a 5 gallon can on the ground into my tractor's tank. Revain will send a replacement but I do not recommend this item. I bought this pump about 18 months ago to use to fill my tractor with diesel fuel. The pickup is tight but fits snugly in the opening of a typical 5-gallon plastic fuel tank. I bought this because I was having trouble managing my 4 gallon gas tank when filling up my lawn mower. That works great. In terms of performance, I couldn't ask for more.
