Tervis Oz Clear Water Bottle Review

My water bottle used to be metal with a straw. But then I used my husband's water bottle (this one) and I loved it! Immediately found for sale on Revain. It's hard to snap it all the way in, but when you do, it's completely leak-proof. Sweat resistant and keeps drinks cold, although not as long as metal ones. But I prefer this one and feel like I drink more water than the metal ones.

Bought it mainly for air travel. Even though it's big, it just wouldn't do for my flight. I've also found that it leaks around the threaded cap and cup due to the height change. However, this did not happen when I used it at home. My sister is also a Tervis fan and she loved my cool purple glass so it's hers now. I just have to be happy using my Tervis massagers while standing on the floor.

I love my Tervis water bottle and a few friends bought one too. They are easy to fill by unscrewing the cap. Excellent to drink. I can't explain it, but now that I have this water bottle, I'm drinking LOTS more water. Somehow the spout is arranged so that the water pours out in such a way that it's easy to drink a ton of water at a time. The water bottle is durable and dishwasher safe. And if you don't need one of their many designs, you can get a simple one like this one.

My only concern is that it's smaller than I'm used to. I had 32 ounce Cool Gear single wall bottles. It's 24 ounces when you fill all the way to the top. However, this is the largest double wall bottle I could find. In other sizes they work great. Can hold ice for hours even at 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit. Longer if you pack ice (fill with ice, fill with water, fill with ice again). Depending on the humidity, they still sweat a little, but not as much. If you are like me and need coasters they…

Not sure if this is a fake Tervis or just a manufacturing defect. This differs from the outer wall design of many other Tervis glasses I own. There are dimensions on the inner bowl, this is the part that actually holds the water. Then there's the outer wall, which is very thin and flexible enough for me to squeeze and touch the inner cup.
