Although it will take a few minutes to figure out exactly how to fit this into your car, once installed it is powerful and very functional

Magnets and phones are not a good idea. I can't prove it, but just a few days after I put the magnet on my phone, the screen was covered in snow and it was impossible to recover.

For now, the best way is to bring the iPhone to the dashboard. Good visibility and 100% access to buttons and phone connections. a few minutes; Placing Tetrax in the AC outlet grille keeps the phone cool at all times.

Updated Tetrax is not what I expected. They basically grabbed every old inventory Tetrax they had and created a new piece of rubber around it. The mount is also poorly thought out. I suspect they wanted to replicate the air conditioner vent at the attachment point but it looks terrible compared to the old style which would have left just a nice piece of metal that would have blended in nicely. It's so bad I won't even install it, I'll disassemble the parts from the kit to fix my old Tetrax…

I need a car holder that will securely hold my iPhone 6+ and normal iPhone 6 phones of two other family members. My criteria were: a) it wasn't big or bulky, b) it didn't have to obstruct the view (e.g. attach to the windshield) or stick to the dashboard and leave suction cups, c) I could quickly attach the phone with one hand and not with an adjustable clip or holder, and d) hold the phone securely.
