Easy to ignite. Very durable

Actually I haven't tried it for a long time but it was easy to ignite (don't forget to hold down the red safety button for about 30 seconds). It got very warm very quickly and you can see the heat difference between Lo, Med or Hi. Hello, it got hot very quickly. I also like that the propane tank platform has fold out legs for maximum heater stability.

I won't stay, so what's the point.

I had to believe the various reviews. This heater will not burn. Follow the instructions in the email but it just shuts off after about 3-4 minutes. You can actually hear what sounds like a switch being flipped, like it's too hot or something. Several reviews said the same thing, but I foolishly thought it was probably user error. Basically don't waste your money, it's cheaper for some reason. So rather spend a few euros more and buy something that works. You know we get what we pay for.

Read please! Fits Camp Kitchen

Buy this product not Mr Heater. This heater is 100% reliable, no matter how cold or windy. You just open the valve (low, mid, high) and you hear gas, bring a lighter to it, it turns red almost immediately and warms you up. It doesn't turn off until you close the gas valve, unlike other products (Mr Heater) that turn off at the slightest movement. This is by far the best personal heater. I've tried several. They are available in all 6 of our stag blinds. I have 6 units of Mr Heater for sale in…

Good heater for the price

Bought to replace an auto start heater which failed in the most spectacular way: it caught fire. And that after the auto starter failed. I bought Mr. Heater Lil Buddy at Walmart but I had to return it because it went out every time I moved the golf cart. I wanted a simple heater with minimal malfunctions. Yes I have to light it up with a grill starter but I know it works every time. My main complaint is that I have to hold down the red starter button for about 30 seconds to get it warm enough…

Just below the knee and quite small, but not bad

Yes, that's good. Understand that it is quite small, it is definitely better to put the cup holder on the trolley and be relatively close to it, or put it on the table and face to face with it at the same height. I bought this to use on the driving range and it works well, I just bend over and warm my hands, but it's below knee height for an adult so it won't warm your body or anything while you stand on the range. Definitely not strong enough for windy conditions. Conditions, the guy who puts…

Awesome, but okay. on Stoves & Grills

The quality of the parts does not inspire confidence but it caught fire and gave off a decent amount of heat. Bought this to take on a camping trip this week in a medium sized retractable trailer tent. But it's raining so I didn't go so I can't speak about its effectiveness in heating the RV. The warnings say not to use in an enclosed space, but the heating radius appears to be about a foot or so, so I'm not sure how much use this would be in an open golf cart or ATV. Also, the rollover…

Exactly as advertised for outdoor recreation

Easy to use, reliable, swallows propane, emits comfortable directional heat. Will not be easy to blow or break when moving. For those who say the detonator doesn't work - this is not a detonator! This is a thermal sensor that heats and maintains the gas supply; You have to press it for about 30 seconds until it gets warm, and then the device will burn. Light with a lighter (preferably a long lighter). I've tried many others and this one can't be beat for simplicity, ease of use, reliability and

Stopped working after a few uses

I used it twice for camping but it stopped working properly so I returned it. For those looking to buy this and wondering how it works, it's pretty straightforward. First you hold the valve open to allow the propane to flow into the heater and light it yourself with a lighter. After a minute or so, a small heat pipe connected to a thermocouple inserted into the heater should be hot enough to hold the valve open so you don't have to hold it any longer. The problem occurs when it's very cold…
