I used to love Thayers! Unfortunately they've started adding phenoxytanol (to preserve the witch hazel) so it's not all natural anymore. I should have listened to other negative reviews. I'm upset because I really loved Thayers and it has worked great for my skin. But this new ingredient had a terrible effect on my face and caused a new breakthrough. Disappointed but again looking for another all natural witch hazel that is not easy to find.

Formula changed! I've been using the tonic on the left side for 6 months and love it. I reordered it, it had the same description and label. I just used it and it burned out and made my face red! I look at the back but the ingredients are different! Now it has phenoxyethanol!

It made my skin flare up. I think I have combination skin, I usually have a pimple or two, but that's okay. I started using this and immediately got the worst acne I've ever had in my life. Huge red pimples all over my forehead. Not sure if I was allergic to anything in it or what but that was my experience. Luckily this went away after I stopped using it.

This is damn cool! I had a lot of redness and breakouts on my chin and a few on my forehead. It really enlightened them all. I don't have acne at the moment, just scars that I will work on. I used it every night after cleansing my skin, used it and then finished with the Mario Bidesci Rose Face Spray and it was perfect! I love this product!

This product contains 14% witch hazel. It consists of 76% water and other ingredients. Thayers (number 1-888-842-9371 on the bottle) confirmed this.

This used to be my favorite toner but is no longer available. They change ingredients without warning. they added phenoxyethanol and aloe vera is no longer second on the list. This change gave me drier skin. I ordered three bottles but if I had seen it in time I would have asked for a refund.

So frustrating. Left is my original Thayers Rose Petal Toner, right is the product I purchased. It smells different and strange, not like rose at all. Either this is a big scam or this new formula is terrible. Either way, waste of my money.
