This is very gentle as far as scrubs go, but with definitely visible results. If you get fairly visible clogged pores (like on your nose) this helps clear them and minimize their appearance. You likely won’t visibly notice it the first time you use it, you softer skin yes, but this, like all skin care products, work best as part of your routine. I’ve yet to try a product from The Face Shop that I haven’t liked

I like that it really cleans and softens my skin. I have sometimes oily, sometimes dry skin. But my face feels great regardless.

Wrong item sent to me over 6 times even after re assuring I'd receive brown bottle; sent the green bottle each time that's completely different than the previous item.

I bought this for my daughter, and no. She does not like it she can not use because it does not exfoliate her skin and she has a class of acne if you know what I mean. She says it is lotion with little bits of sand in it.

Not only did this product help with getting rid of dry skin it also softened as well. It smells nice and was so soothing during the application. I am so excited about this product that I definitely will be trying other items they carry. You won’t be disappointed. Also I have very dry skin in the winter and oily in the summer so it’s hard for me to find products that actually work and are affordable.

This is A REALLY nice foaming cleaner with just the right amount of scrubbing beads for daily exfoliation. I love that a small Pearl size amount does the trick so it will last a long time 😊. I barely we my face by wing my hands then transferring that water to my face. Get a small Pearl of product and work it into a larger on your face. If you need it to start lathering again apply a butt more water. But too much water it doesn't seem to larger as good. I would definitely but this product again

After trying the St.Ives face exfoliating scrubs, I decided to try this a week ago. And I’m so glad I did!The Jeju Volcanic Lava pore exfoliator doesn’t dry my face out, it smells really nice and most importantly, it doesn’t feel like I’m rubbing sand paper on my face(unlike the st.ives face exfoliators)! Face feels very clean but not stripped. A very small amount of product is needed to get a huge amount of foam. The scrubbing particles are very gentle as compared to St. Ives apricot scrub. If you don’t want to use it as a scrub you can foam it in your hands and rub them together. This gets rid of most of the scrubbing particles and you can use the resulting foam on your face. I love this cleanser for my skin. I have acne-prone combination skin and this doesn't leave my skin feeling dry (use sparingly, a little goes a long way) but super clean. It is slightly cooling and I just love using it. The foam is very soft and the beads are a nice touch. I've noticed that it helped with oil-control!

The ingredients have changed. The old version was in a dark gray tube. The new one in in a smaller light green tube. Perfect for taking out all the oils, dirt, etc. off my face without being insanely harsh and dry like other alcohol-based or western mainstream facial cleansing products. I’ve used a few other products from this place and I’ve liked them all. This leaves my face very soft and it smells great. A little goes a long way.

With all the oils in the product I expected to be oily, but unlike other products it actually gets my skin squeaky clean without being oily and I haven't been oily throughout the day like my skin tends to get with scrubs with oil. Wish it was more abrasive. A plus is you don't have to use much with the foaming effect a little goes a long way.

My son is 13 and has been getting blackheads on his nose. This face was has worked wonders for that! Not too harsh for his skin.

Did not work for me. Dried out my face. Using this product correlated to more breakouts for me. Could be different for someone else.

The beads give a gentle exfoliation. The product does foam up once you begin washing your damp face in circular motions. Once you rinse, you can tell that your skin is cleansed. I have combination skin, but due to the cold weather it gets a bit dry. It leaves my face feeling a little try, but if you follow up with a toner and your moisturizer, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Ended up getting a few pimples after a few uses. It does leave the skin feeling clean and soft, just wished my skin wasn’t so sensitive with it.

It’s not the same as you saw on the picture. I had an original one in brown color . Feel super good and clean after washed my face . This green one doesn’t feel the same at all . You feel you need other face wash to wash your face again to feel clean . don’t buy it

It foams very nicely and cleanses, but does not have many exfoliating beads. If you're using it as a cleanser, I highly recommend it, but as an exfoliator, I do not recommend it.
