I already have a light cream colored curtain up at the window and behind it the standard rental blinds, but we needed a black out on it as those layers did not block much light at all. Like it a lot. My bathroom window has frost but it’s still pretty revealing. This is great, it’s thick and feels nice. I like that you can tie it up or let it hang down. Does need some steam or an iron. Note there are reviews of people who hung it upside down, so the ties are not the problem but the user. I bunch it up and tie one side, then the same on the other side. Then just straighten it out how to like after. Great curtain.

I was primarily looking for thermal curtains when I purchased these, and was pretty skeptical because of the lack of the traditional thermal backing. I really like these curtains but I ordered & expected ivory. They’re actually a very light pearl gray color. Also, one of the ties wasn’t sewn into the seam so that factored into my review. Material is great quality.

The curtains are made of a heavy polyester type of material with a slight smell.When I put up just one curtain, it looked odd to me. so I added both panels & with some finagling; it looks somewhat decent.To soon to tell if they block the afternoon sun as we are getting ready for a snow storm, however, my room is darkened and my neighbors cant see in.Win-Win!update: as of this morning, they do block out light.

I guess for the money it's a cheap way to dress up your windows, this was for one of the rental properties I owe, so I was looking for something not expensive that would serve the purpose, fabrick is thick and heavy and it's hard to shape it to look nice and even. Looks good and hangs nicely while blocking sun well. I ordered these in cream color but ended up with khaki. I just had my house painted a relaxed khaki shade and they completely blend with the paint job. I wanted a slight shade difference so I ordered cream. Cream and khaki aren’t that close in the color scheme.

I needed to block out the hot Texas afternoon sun so I desided on these curtains , but founded very challenging to fold, so it looks good. I desided to use clips. Yes office clips and I folded one side and used the clip to keep in place.then I started the other end and also used a clip that was very helpful because these curtains are in a bid of heavy material.
