Ideal for NCASE M1 - wear gloves.

My setup is NCASE M1 case, Intel 8086K processor and Radeon RX 5700XT fan model. This is the best air cooler for NCASE M1. I was able to keep my stock 8086Ks through the mid 70's when doing folding at home (CPU intensive) and from the high 60's to the low 70's when gaming. Temperatures rose to around 85 C on the mild 4.7 GHz all-core OC. The best part is that it still allows me to use the stock 3.5" drive and 92mm fan. Almost all other coolers block one or the other. Excellent cooling and clearance for ITX MOBO and some SFF cases

Instructions are vague but installation is easy. I took the advice and replaced the standard fan with a 120mm Noctua Redux 1700 PWM. And then I added a second 100mm fan on the front of the cooler. This is the perfect height to release a ram (itx mobo) and still fits the hull height limit. (92mm also works). Secure the bottom fan frame 100mm holes directly between the cooling fins (the type that comes with most case fans) using silicone screws. Used longer silicone screws to attach the 100mm fan

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Tiny cooler, big cooling capacity

I use this thing to cool an AMD R9 3900XT, a 12-core monster chip that can draw up to 150W of power even in normal mode. the settings. This is not an easy task for a mainstream CPU cooler, but I made it harder by putting it in a small 145mm pitch ITX case. There aren't many heatsinks out there that can get the job done. The Silver Arrow 130 does just that. The Silver Arrow, as the name suggests, is 130mm tall. It fits my Thermatake Core V1. It fits in the trendy Ncase M1. According to the…
