I chose this to apply to SSD in 2 different laptops. This spacer is the right thickness and adhesive to attach directly to NVMe/M.2 SSDs in most laptops, which is what I've used it for. As a result, the SSD temperatures on both laptops dropped by about 10 degrees under load and a little more when idling.
