What a great purchase! Outdoor Sports & Recreation Accessories

This thermos holds 40 ounces of hot or cold liquid. Keeps the temperature for at least 12 hours. I carry water during the day and bring it to bed at night. It's a little hard, but worth it. It doesn't leak and the drinking cap works surprisingly well. I bought one for most of my adult family members. I wish the "buy two" promotion was still running.

Pros
  • Few Competitors
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Well made and constructed

Apart from the wonderful colors on offer, the thermos works great. We're outdoor people living in warm climates and our drinks stay cold (iced) all day long. Two types of lids were included. You collect one to drink and the other uses the straw provided. The handle is designed to fit the entire hand and flexes for easy portability. It doesn't fit in our bike water tanks due to the size, so we just put it in our saddlebags.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Not the best

In the house, the massagers performed flawlessly. Still good ice cream after 12 hours. But when I ran 10 miles a day and left it in the truck while filled with ice, when I started 4 hours later there was no ice, just cool water. I thought about the Yeti, but yes, no. specifications lie. This keeps the ice outside for 2 hours in summer. About the same mileage as my hospital pitcher. Maybe not as good as my hospital pitcher. I know this, the ONLY reason I ordered this was their promise to keep…

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Secret

Must have for summer

This really is the best. I couldn't turn down two packages, especially with the Texas summer. They don't leak, they're easy to drink, easy to fill, easy to clean, and I love that they include a variety of top options, although we prefer a straw. I've been drinking a lot more water since I got this water bottle and my husband has given up on all those horrible sodas. We also use less ice, so there is enough ice for everyone in the house, even on hot summer days. You don't need a lot of ice…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are downsides

Comparison CamelBak vs. ThermoFlask

From someone who paid $40 for CamelBak's premium 40 ounce steel water bottle, this is a great alternative for people looking for more bang for their buck. I have yet to test the ice cube temperature sensing versus my CamelBak but so far it seems to stay cold for many hours. It doesn't leak at all, which bothered me with the cheap price and the straw lid. I like that it comes with 2 lids. I just have to say that this isn't the best water bottle to put in your bike's bottle cage. I have a smaller
