Great thermometer - reads quickly and fairly accurately, plus a longer length makes it easy to set the temperature on the grill and also gets to the center when you're cooking a large roast. I wish it could flip the display so you can read it no matter how it's oriented.

Received this from a recommendation and advert on the Amazing Ribs website where I often read recipes and grill reviews. The probe works well and lasts long enough not to burn your hand. The final temp reading takes about 4-5 seconds, which is longer than advertised. The only problem for me is that the lights go out quickly and the display is hard to see at night.

The example that I received works well and corresponds to the description. After taking it out of the box, I tested it for body temperature with a mercury thermometer, and it was accurate. Then I checked into a boiling pot of water and everything was fine again. I've used it, cooked almost everything with no problems and works as it should.

This is a picture of a London roast, the thermometer showed it was 127F when I pulled it out. I knew he had been in the oven too long from previous cooking experience, but he kept giving me low readings, so I trusted him. And here's what I have. Absolutely well done. That's not normal. You can't be on Mars if you're aiming for the moon, that's how wrong this thermometer is. Considered other options, not impressed.

Do not buy! I first used this thermometer on a turkey on Thanksgiving and it seemed to work well. A few hours later I tried again and the temperature hadn't risen above 78 degrees! I used an old fashioned meat thermometer and the temp came out at 170 degrees. I can agree that most products don't work for ten years, but this one stopped working on Thanksgiving - the first day I used it!

Bought to replace my broken Thermapen. Cheaper and works better. Thermapen broke within a year so it works intermittently and sometimes slowly. Tried two other cheap ones and they suck. The ThermoPro seems accurate (compared to Thermapen) and I don't have to unbox it and wait for it to run. Just push the button and go. It is mainly used for meat, poultry and fish. I don't know how long it will last but for the price I'm very satisfied. My current favorite kitchen helper.
