Perfect for thumbs

I used these thimbles for hand sewing leather. Worked great! I used the larger one for my thumb and the smaller one for my finger. When I finished my project, the thimbles took the shape of my fingers well. I also like the metal disc inside as it helps my needle a lot!

Pros
  • Sewing Tools
Cons
  • Crumpled Wrap

handy for sewing supplies and supplies

I found the small size fit better than the medium size. I use a leather thimble for all types of hand sewing including quilting and needle twisting applique. Metal thimbles ten to leave indentations on the finger side of the thimble. However, comfort is the best attribute of a thimble and I wholeheartedly recommend it. come on buy

Pros
  • Thimbles
Cons
  • Style 90

It's a shame I didn't find out about this years ago!

I love these leather thimbles! Much better than metal thimbles! I will never go back to metal! I have long nails and they fit my nails and fingers perfectly because they are flexible. I'm a quilter and seamstress who uses both hands on projects. I love the simplicity and versatility of these thimbles that allow you to switch between different fingers if a hand gets tired or cramps.

Pros
  • Soft shearling makes this garment really comfortable, sweat-wicking and breathable while sewing.
Cons
  • No gun

Comfortable but comes off very easily

This thimble is a great idea because it's soft and comfortable on your fingers. However, I have medium to large hands and I found the smaller size stretched very quickly and became very loose on my index finger which I use when working with needles. I thought the larger size would be handy but I didn't even. There may be two smaller sizes or even one smaller size available in a multi pack.

Pros
  • Leather thimbles Size: S-1.3 in (3.5 cm); M - 1.6 inch (4.1 cm); suitable for most people.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
