Sturdy, but needs a better hinge design

This storage clipboard has good features - it holds plenty of documents, has a place for a pen, clips documents and snaps closed securely, and can hang up if needed.My only complaint is that the hinge broke (see photo) after a month and a half of not-frequent use. Pretty disappointing. The clipboard still works, it is just a bit cumbersome to manage when the top pops halfway off every time I open it.

Great for my 6th grader!

I got this so that I could give my 6th grader a bit more independence. He keeps important notes and paper inside. On the top he has his schedule of subjects he needs to complete for the week. He absolutely loves it and so do I! Plus, I love the sturdiness so that the papers aren't going to get all scrunched up inside.

Great Clipboard with Storage Case

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a clipboard case with storage inside to hold papers and pencils. It is very sturdy. I love the red color and the clasp that holds the papers on top and the one that keeps the case shut are both very solid and not at all flimsy. For comparison, I like this one much better than the one I got at Staples (which broke right away). Latch frustration on my review.

The latch on this is problematic because when it's open the latch folds down and when you go to close it the latch is in the way so you have to lift the latch then close it and then secure it. I use it on the road and this is a big inconvenience.

I work in the medical field and this clipboard is excellent. It keeps my paperwork organized & I can wipe it down! I am thinking of buying at least a couple more for my colleagues.

Nice product out of the package

Received this storage clipboard today. Looks nice and hard wear appears sturdy. Thin overall for a storage clipboard, but able to hold a half inch or so worth of paper and a pen/pencil. Looks like it is well made for the price. It is plastic so it is light, a little more flexible (empty) for writing than a regular clipboard but stable enough. Will update my review after testing it in a classroom for a few months.
