Great scanner! about code readers and scan tools

I am pleasantly surprised by the capabilities of this scanner. I have tried other scanners before and this scanner is far superior to them all. This scanner not only shows all real-time data from different modules in the car, but also allows you to activate certain censors and details. Mixed feelings on diagnostic, test and measurement tools

For "lightweight" applications this is a good option. It is not at all suitable for applications such as programming or even resetting some modules. You have to pay extra for software that "may" help you, but not for all car brands. Example: Nissan Altima 2015, clear airbag codes (not good, just cleared non-permanent codes), TPMS programming not available. Adding a remote key is not possible unless you delete ALL fobs you may have, including the current one and the one in your vehicle, to start

Great reader and great price.

Excellent code reader. I have an expensive code reader that does exactly the same thing as this one, but it's Bluetooth. The start is a bit tough. Real diagnostics take a little longer than my others, but once you get over it, this thing can do anything. Very thorough diagnostics combined with very simple trip tests make it ideal for the advanced home mechanic. Brand launch quality at its finest

Once again I find myself holding a useless Launch diagnostic tool. My Diagun sits in the corner and doesn't do anything because I'm not getting any updates. This ThinkDiag can't even be used because the ThinkDiag app keeps crashing and can't even talk to the key. Do you contact support? Five letters with a short answer and nothing after that. Call her? Factory-level functionality at a great price!

I teach automotive engineering at a junior college in Texas. I bought this scanner as a possible entry level device for my students. I was blown away by the out of the box functionality of this easy to use tool. One of the vehicles I tested was a 2016 F250 diesel truck. This tool gives full access to all aftertreatment systems including manual regeneration, coding to adjust number of jets, relative compression, bi-directional control of any module I enter. I have been an ASE technician for over 25 years. I bought it the other day in my prime because I wanted to see if this little device really did everything it said it would. I don't know why this scanner gets bad reviews. It works as advertised. Better than anything I've personally seen. Software account and login failure.

To be honest I couldn't use the device because I can't log into the app I need to work. I purchased the item and then followed the instructions to download the app. I downloaded the app and created an account. Did everything I was told.
