DO NOT BUY THIS! I used to make my own sunscreen and I know that this type of sunscreen needs a lot of zinc oxide to protect the skin from sunburn. This sunscreen does NOT protect the skin! My husband and I applied a lot of it, we tried to make it thick, we looked white (which it takes to block the sun's rays) and yet we got sunburned the first few hours out in the sun! This is the only sunscreen my daughter can use. She gets severe eczema from any other product. I used it at a week long outdoor camp in South Texas with no burns and only used it once at noon. I had a minimum of freckles and no irritation. The scent is light and not strong. I have medium skin tone with freckles and this turns me white for a few minutes but usually settles or fades with wear and additional rubbing. I just apply it lightly to avoid a white tinge and because it's a bit pricey lol.
