Convenience: ThinOptics Universal Pod includes both the ThinOptics Readers & the Universal Pod case which feature a non-residue adhesive to stick onto your phone/case or any other hard & flat surface to be Always WIth You.

They are great in a pinch

They are great in a pinch and very easy to carry. They fit easily in any pocket. The magnification (x1) is perfect. When I first got them they "felt" that they could break easily so I handled them very carefully and kept dropping and catching them, but they seem quite strong, just very lightly. When you try it on for the first time, you need to find the best spot on your nose to keep it in place. I've found that on the bridge of my nose where regular glasses are, they don't fit. The two pieces…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style

You have to be realistic with these glasses, they complement "armed" glasses, not replace them. Advantages; 1. They are so easy to take with you as the glasses and case are little bigger than a credit card and are flexible.2. When goggles are impractical or uncomfortable, keeping them on your nose can be the solution.3. They look stylish or at least harmless.4. So light that there is no fatigue5. No hands to irritate.6. Their longevity results from their extremely low weight. I've dropped mine…

UPDATE 4 - 08/28/18 I received the glasses as promised but they were not the same power. I wear 1.5 and they sent me 1.0. I emailed them about this a week ago but haven't heard from them yet. It seems that poor communication is the company's main product. If they had given me the opportunity to speak directly to Mona, the only person who both cared about her and seemed to know what she was doing, then perhaps I could have found a satisfactory solution. . Instead I'm forced to write to their…
