Excellent receivers that do not scratch the table.

This is my second set of coasters. I liked them so much and use them so often that I bought a second set. They absorb moisture well, and the cork walls do not leave marks on the countertop. They are also attractive and colorful so they go well with my decor.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The colors are wrong and there is an image overlay

Seen and loved. Received it in the mail today and was very disappointed. I didn't know they had an image overlay in them. They look really cheap. The colors are more blue and red. Added photo. I didn't mix up the photo, that's what it looks like.

DON'T drink anymore!

Man, I used to love my Thirstystone coasters. There were some I bought 20 years ago that sucked up every drop of condensate you gave them! So when I needed new coasters, Thirstystone was no problem. Imagine my surprise when I found out the stone didn't want to drink anymore! I bought these late last year and condensation forms on top and constantly runs onto my desk. This week I finally gave up and ordered plastic coasters that look like bar mats. They're not pretty, but my table was dry. 🤷‍♀️

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

To be or not to be?

Pretty but not as full of color and texture as shown. Dusty and flat, but still cool. Just expecting the 3D visual quality of the other bricks. It doesn't look like the picture was pasted on. I may need to paint on it with acrylics to darken the lines and make the color richer, although I like the dark, muted aspect. I just hope it doesn't ruin the absorbency. Used on the ground floor in the art studio and the large guest room for children and entertainment area. I can't decide if it fits well…

Pretty but design prevents wicking

Colors are nice but design interferes with the wicking effect I'm used to from Thirstystone products. It's a smooth surface and the water is on top rather than getting into the stand which is a shame as I was really looking for that if it was set in stone. I think it could be different. I can try to scratch them. intentionally to see if it helps wicking but then I might lose color and pattern so be aware they don't absorb condensation like your other Thirstystone products which is a shame.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Empty

Waste of money on bar supplies and drinks

I bought these specifically for morning cocktails. The bottle that keeps my cocktail in tends to sweat a lot and my previous coasters didn't do the job. I would end up with condensation everywhere. I figured buying a set of Durststein coasters would be the logical choice, but as you can see they're just as bad as the plain coasters I've had before. Water pooled on the stand and then spilled onto my table. I am extremely disappointed. Sure, they're nice, but I don't see any improvement over the…

Fast Perfect Bar Tools

I love the look of these coasters. I keep a giant mug on my desk at work and the sweat from the mug makes a huge mess. I fill my cup with ice, then pour in coffee and drink iced coffee all day. I bought these coasters specifically to soak up the condensation that runs down the mug and collects on my desk. I've been using it for about two weeks now and until yesterday I was completely satisfied. Seems like I got thirsty yesterday because I refilled my cup two more times. Apparently three cups…
