Loved Torlo for about 18 years until he was let down.

I work in healthcare and sometimes stand on my feet for 24 hours at a time. I'm a big fan of thick bottomed socks that offer good impact protection and protect my feet from the brutality I put them through. I'm looking for breathability, softness, natural fibers and a good fit without constricting me. I wear women's shoes in size 7.5. It's all of the above. I like that they aren't white (although I also have many pairs of Thorlo Run 10 and love them too) because the white ones age faster. I…

Pros
  • Wash inside out Fabric softener recommended
Cons
  • Style 90

Good durable 100% synthetic sock

Good durable 100% synthetic sock. I wanted cotton free socks to stay drier in hot weather and my local store was no longer selling what I used to buy. The large ones are perfect for my 11.5 (43) but I don't think they will fit a larger foot as there is no extra length left. I had my doubts about the price but the synthetic compound should make them more durable to justify your money. The only negative is that they are not as thick as I thought thick socks should be compared to other full sized…

Pros
  • Clinically proven cushioning to reduce calluses, moisture, pain and pressure
Cons
  • Protection

My favorite socks! - Socks

I've been looking for good, comfortable, durable and warm socks for weeks. I've tried many pairs but always found them too thin, too thick, not strong. These are literally the best socks I've ever owned. I have 6 pairs and 2 of them are 5 years old and still walking fine. Very good winter socks and the fit is exceptional. You will not be disappointed.

Pros
  • 63% Polyester, 18% Nylon, 15% Acrylic, 4% Elastic
Cons
  • Concerns me

Very good socks but a bit thin

I have been wearing Thorlo socks for many years, mainly for training and running, so I can punish the socks Thorlo quite tough and they have always held up and given me great value at a relatively high price. These low cut socks aren't going to take that much from me, just for projects around the house. They fit as expected, a bit snug on my feet in a size 11 1/2 but stretched to fit perfectly. The only downside is that they are a bit thinner than I expected compared to previous purchases of…

Pros
  • Fibers are selected for efficiency and durability so the socks can be worn for years
Cons
  • There is nothing here

I love these men's socks

I love these socks. They are amazing. I have used them when traveling to different countries as they are good in different weather and stay fresher longer than a normal pair of socks. Any moisture dries relatively quickly. They are very comfortable, well padded and breathable at the same time. I like sleeping in it too. For those concerned about durability, I have the first pair I bought over 3 years ago and they are still in good/wearable condition.

Pros
  • Made in the USA
Cons
  • Something's wrong

The best socks made today. For many years.

I used to be a manager at the now defunct Sports Authority (may they burn, wherever failed retail chains go when they die) and started out as a part-time shoe salesman from where I got me Learned quite a bit about everything, brand quality and the difference between comfortable and terrible poor quality shoes that brands sell in favor of style over substance. I fell in love with almost all types of Thörlo socks. I have big feet (14.5) but I can wear Run-14s (I like 1/4 high socks and I like…

Pros
  • Ventilation panel for added moisture protection and breathability
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Fragrance Sports & Outdoors

These are great socks but I wear absolutely all products unscented. Hair, body, laundry, kitchen, cleaning supplies! Unfortunately, these socks arrived smelling of perfumed detergent. I had to wash them (12 pairs) three times to get most of the smell out! I sincerely believe they were new but stored in places with strong smelling products.

Pros
  • Ultimate comfort and protection for day hikes or longer hikes in warm weather
Cons
  • Makes me angry
