I use this primarily for brewing black tea in a 26oz Yeti bottle. It can hang off the ledge very well and the chain is long enough to go about 2/3 of the way down. Screwing in the ball is really easy and I haven't had any issues with thread misalignment. It feels premium and premium and is what I was looking for in a tea infuser. Highly recommended.

Bought 2 teapots. One is used exclusively for tea. We use the other when a recipe calls for whole herbs or spices. Like! I've been looking for a while to find something that will work with the loose tea I just ordered and I've seen a lot of negative reviews elsewhere. I decided to take a chance reading the reviews and I'm glad I did! It's easy to use, easy to clean and I love the little tray to put it on when I take it out of the mug! You end up with a few very small pieces that manage to slide away, but as far as I know, that's to be expected, allowing the water to flow through and actually brew the tea.

First, I considered tea balls with a flat top held in place by small ledges that could easily fall off. With full threads holding the halves in place it seems like it will last longer.
