It doesn't work well, doesn't fit the butt and doesn't cut the whole core. It breaks the nucleus onto the plunger and squeezes the milk out of the nucleus.

Canning was one of my new hobbies this year and my in-laws gave me so much corn that I decided to make it. Cutting corn with a knife was so tiring and time consuming. Cutting the corn and preparing it for canning helped a lot. What took me 2 hours the traditional way took 25 minutes with this knife. I finally hunted down 76 liter cans of corn with this kitchen tool.

The video shows using a cordless drill with a lag screw to rotate the piston through the stripper, but due to the misalignment of the teeth, you must rotate the piston counterclockwise. clockwise, which ejects the drill. The result is a mash of half-cut grains. The remains of the ears had to be cut off with a kitchen knife. I do NOT recommend this poorly thought out product as it is not possible to get a shelled cob - too much waste.

People complain about the cobs slipping off, etc. If you're seriously trying to break off dozens of cobs to freeze candy corn, try this: 1) drive a long nail into a 2 x 8 board 2) pound or drill a Hole in the middle of an old metal mold for baking (cake). 3) Put the pan on the nail on the board. 4) Stick a corncob on your nail and clean it. For 5 dozen ears, repeat the last step 60 times. You will thank me later.

This item worked on several ears of corn and then one of the rivets came loose. I continued to use it carefully and eventually another rivet broke off one of the blades rendering it unusable. It came from a kid raised by one of my parents in the corn belt and it worked flawlessly, but in today's world things aren't made the way they used to be. We found a YouTube video showing how to cut corn on the cob. The guy made it so easy that we decided to give it a try. It didn't work for us! We first tried putting it on a five gallon bucket but it was too small to fit on the bucket so we cut a hole in the top of the lid hoping it would give us room, to cut the corn into the bucket.
