What is also worth buying right away is a windshield, an adapter for mounting on a mountain bike (if you have a mountain bike), a pillow on the handle. The windshield is just a godsend.     Great fit but not for a fatter mountain bike frame

    Now I have a happy 2 year old at home asking for a non stop bike ride! Great fun seeing him right in front of me demanding we go back and forth and FASTER! My only complaint about this seat is that I had to buy another bike as it just didn't work on my mountain bike because its frame was too thick for me to rotate with the seat attached. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend this chair.

    Love this bike friendly seat

    I did a LOT of searching to decide which front seat to get for my bike and I'm so glad I chose this one . The high back supports my 17 month old girl and she seemed comfortable. We took her for her first ride in it yesterday and the only reason we stopped was because her helmet was starting to bother her (first time she actually wore it). I'm only 5ft 3" tall and had no trouble seeing when I was driving. Excellent purchase.

    We LOVE this bike seat! It took us less than 5 minutes to install and the quick release is fantastic for getting in after every ride. My husband has a mountain bike and it fits his frame but the bolts could be a bit longer but it works. My husband claims he doesn't need to adjust those legs to accommodate this seat, however it does limit his turning radius at low speeds but doesn't detract from our leisurely family rides. We love that our daughter can ride in the front and she loves it too…

    I love Thule, but this little seat wasn't what we wanted. We have a 9 month old son. I ordered a seat and figured that would do; however, it was too thin. The belt didn't stay on. It kept sliding down so we used the strap to try to hold it together. The stirrups affect the turning radius of the bike.     I bought this particular seat after doing some research to make sure it would fit my vehicle. The new NEXXT type does not fit the fork diameters of most American mountain bikes.     This is a great product to start with. When I go on a bike ride, I can just put the seat on my mountain bike. When driving, I have enough space for the pedals and I don't touch the child seat.     Installing the clamp on the bike was easy enough. It was pretty tight on my bike. Landing on the clamp was a bit more difficult. I really had to go down and see exactly what goes where, but once I put it on it was on! It fits perfectly, which I was a little worried about because I have an old bike (a 1984 Sears Roebuck Free Spirit Brittany). My daughter is 18 months and 26 pounds and fits him perfectly.
