NOT Thunderbolt 3, the name *was* misleading.

This is NOT Thunderbolt 3. Don't buy it expecting the 40 Gbps that Thunderbolt 3 offers. The name is VERY misleading. Thunderbolt is not mentioned on the packaging. However, it mentions USB-C and 10 Gbps data transfer. This is a decent USB 3.1/3.2 Gen2 cable with a maximum speed of 10Gbps. UPDATE: After my review, the seller contacted me and changed the name to remove Thunderbolt. 3 from the description. They also reimbursed me for the inconvenience. Excellent customer service and I changed the

Super and super flexible!

I use this cable for charging and data transfer. I've tested it with my battery, an external SSD (pics attached) and it works great on both! I even did a unique test with a portable monitor and my phone and it works FANTASTIC. The flat shell resembles silicone. it is very "stubborn" and the metal ends are real metal. I've only had this item for a few weeks (almost a month) with heavy use and am happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Low kit

Non-Thunderbolt 3.0 Compatible Cable

We bought this cable because we need a Thunderbolt 3.0 cable. This cable is not compatible or approved by Intel. It works like a USB-C cable but not like Thunderbolt 3.0, they are not interchangeable in all cases. These cables are Dockcase USB-C cables and sometimes we were able to get them to work. if we reversed or flipped the plug. If you really need Thunderbolt 3.0, make sure it has Thunderbolt and is Intel approved.

Pros
  • Cheap Price
Cons

Great full featured short USB-C cable

Used to connect a B07YX5NKK2 Lenovo ThinkVision M14 monitor to my B084ZYR923 single port Apple Retina MacBook. This cable transfers power from the monitor to the MacBook and absolutely perfectly routes the DisplayPort alt-mode signals from the laptop to the monitor. It's nice and short, about 9 inches long! I use this cable because the M14 comes with a 3ft cable which most of the time only gets in the way when the monitor is used next to the laptop.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Didn't charge MBP 16 " and had logos although pics don't show them

Title says it all; 100 watt cable that didn't charge my MBP. Very similar cable from "Arizen"" But even though this one said it charges my MBP, it was actually drained as I found it only charges at 60w not 100w! on the photo. I would recommend buying a Thunderbolt 3 cable. The one I bought and tested for a few days and charged at 100W is branded ANNNWZZD. It seems to work great although the cord is a bit longer.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

It connects and then disconnects again

I just had the opportunity to try it. Otherwise I would have returned, but the window closed before I could try. When connected, it keeps connecting and immediately turns off. The noise is annoying! I can't get any work done with it because every time it accidentally shuts down I lose my work. I got it for a shorter cord but I hate this thing. Don't waste money!

Pros
  • It brings joy
Cons
  • There are doubts

Fast Charging & High Data Transfer Rate

Have been using this USB-C cable for a few days now. I tested the functions for both charging and data transfer. Here are my thoughts: CHARGING: I connected the cable to my LG V30 via the Anker USB-C charger. The phone recognized Quick Charge 3.0 with this cable (the box is also QC 3.0 compatible) and charged the phone as fast as the original charging cable/box. The only thing to note is that this cable is very short - maybe around 9 inches, so it's only useful in certain conditions (perhaps…
