Convenient and Versatile Docking Station

I recently purchased this Thunderbolt Certified DisplayPort Ethernet HB dock and I am very happy with its performance. Based on my observations, it is very easy to install and allows me to connect all of my necessary peripherals to my laptop. The Ethernet port provides consistent and fast internet connectivity. However, the only downside I found was that it gets a little hot after extended use. Overall, I highly recommend this docking station for anyone looking for convenience and versatility.

Pros
  • Easy to install, allows connection to all peripherals, Ethernet port provides fast internet connectivity.
Cons
  • Gets a little hot after extended use.

Expensive but great if you want features

I have used many Sabrent products over the years so I am confident in their quality. This dock is quite expensive for the number of ports, so make sure you really need the features this dock offers. Two reasons it's expensive is that it supports Thunderbolt 3 at speeds up to 40Gbps and also supports dual monitors with 4K or higher resolutions (HDMI supports up to 4K and DisplayPort supports up to 8K). I've never seen an 8K DisplayPort monitor, but I'm sure they exist. I actually ordered this…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I'm a fan of Sabrent products, especially their USB C/Thunderbolt accessories like NVMe Guards. This travel hub is an officially licensed Thunderbolt 3 accessory and features an Intel TB3 controller. That's good because Intel and Apple are the two companies that created/developed the Thunderbolt 3 specification. I think the display options you get with it are the main selling point, anything else you could find on a cheaper USB-C hub that doesn't require DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Negative impression
