The tie shop we just received seems to solve the problem

We have a constant problem with tie tacks piercing parts of the tie and then having to fasten the tie. The tie shop we just received seems to solve the problem. The magnet is very strong. The tie stays in place. I'm glad someone recognized the problem of elderly people having difficulty manipulating standard tie pins and ending up falling on their backs on the floor or not inserting the pin into the holder.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Sad gear

Beautiful, won't damage a tie and does its job

I love tie clips but due to the different ages of my ties I have different widths so grabbing the right tie clip when it's quiet dark is difficult. This tie magnet serves as a clip and the width of the tie doesn't matter. Looks great - just wish they weren't $30 a piece.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Factor Set

Pretty tie! for men

This is an innovative product that should have been thought of many years ago! These magnets hold the two parts of the tie securely together without the needle sticking through (and ultimately destroying) them. You can also place the back magnet behind your shirt and the device will hold your tie securely in place. I prefer to use another product in addition to this one to keep the tie in place. Check out the plastic tie clip (available from TIEALIGN on Revain) and use them in combination withโ€ฆ

Don't buy this! Not worth 30โ‚ฌ! Buy something else!

First day of use, magnets removed, one part attached to the back of the tie, and the other part automatically magnetized. It's great, like a magnet. Only the whole front end broke in half like a biscuit. Literally the first time I use it! What cheap materials are they using for $30 each?!?! Skip it and just buy a regular magnet for $1-$5. Definitely not worth the inflated price of $30. And it's so small you couldn't even see its construction before it broke.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Annoyed

Better than pins or clips, but . . .

So far this product is working great. Much better than pins or even clips. However, I would like to see it in more forms. Especially festive. The price also seems a bit high for a magnet. How about a shamrock for St. Patrick's Day? Heart for Valentine's Day? Christmas tree, Bigfoot or Santa Claus?

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not bad
