I really like this docking station - it works great with my Dell laptop. I had a smaller USB-C hub that worked fine but caused issues from time to time. Sometimes the second display would turn off or I would lose my wired ethernet connection. The hub got very hot and I believe the overheating was the cause of my intermittent problems. This first docking station worked great with my Dell X1 with Thunderbolt 3 port, really plug and play. But when I connected my new Lenovo E15 Gen2 with Thunderbolt 4 to an HDMI-to-HDMI and a DP-to-HDMI, the device failed. I received this dock to replace another brand's dock that didn't have its own power adapter (only USB-C powered) and my monitors kept turning on and off (very annoying). The Tiergrade USB-C Dock offers incredible value for money. It works with my Alienware M17xR4 with the Alienware Graphics Amplifier attached. It dissipates heat very well and is very well made.
