Excellent thin blade for machine and hand tools

I am buying this blade to replace an old one that broke. I use it with a Carter stabilizer guide and get great cuts like a spiral saw. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Suitable Material Thickness: Kiln Dried Hardwood 1/8" - 2"; Softwood 1/8" - 1-1/4", plywood, MDF and other composites 1/4" - 1"; Soft metal and plastic 1/4" - 1/2"
Cons
  • Good but not great

Far Exceeds Expectations

I bought this. Like a spare blade for my band saw. This blade far exceeds expectations. Cuts through oak like butter. This will be the brand I will be using in the future.

Pros
  • Cutting Application: Scrolling
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Broken after 2 months

I am cutting 3" thick poplar. I wasn't strict with the blade. We walked slowly and methodically. Lots and lots of rough edges where the blades seem to "jump" instead of cutting straight. Maybe me, I don't know, but it requires a lot of looping. Went pretty straight and broke. Given their prices, I think I'll experiment with an Olsen or two. A Timber Wolk can buy almost two Olsens. Time will tell but knowing it broke so quickly is a huge disappointment.

Pros
  • Other blade specifications: 0.042 kerf; tooth angle 0 degrees; Cutting radius 7/32"
Cons
  • Not sure
