Timex T625B Auto-Set Triple-Alarm CD Clock Radio with Nature Sounds in Black – Limited Stock Review

I have been looking for a clock radio for a long time since my old one died. In the end I settled on the Timex 625. No complaints so far, I like the ability to wake up to different sounds - CD, radio, nature sounds. I also like the choice of backlight (there are 3 of them). small area on the bedside table. The sound is ok, not great (but for the price, what do you expect?). Overall I am happy with this device and would recommend it.

I burned myself buying this. It's difficult to find a CD that plays on a clock radio these days. Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter. It was probably refurbished but the CD player never worked! No written instructions included. It's so hard to figure out how to set and turn off an alarm! It's amazing how many clock radios don't have many of the features this one has. For example a backup battery. How can you have a clock radio that is mostly used as an alarm clock and not have a battery backup? Luckily, this clock has one and all the other features I wanted in a clock radio. I don't know if a new unit would have been better but I do know that what appears to have been received was a used product which was in horribly awful condition as shown in the photos. #1 The photos show the unit is scratched and discolored in some places and has scuffs on the back #2 How it can ever pass inspection I'll never know but as you can see from the photos the antenna was real CUT OFF!
