I have my doubts that this is real Timex and not fake. Unfortunately I'm about to give it away and it looks like someone swiped it off a store shelf and threw it in a box, well. fit. Where it didn't fit, a piece of bubble wrap was attached to keep it from rattling. There's no protective plastic on top of the crystal, and there's nothing to emphasize that worries me even more. I am very embarrassed to give this but at the moment I have no choice and I need to get myself a nicer replacement gift.

I really like the watch myself. The numbers are easy to read and I'm sure the Timex will last a long time. The only reason I hesitated to give 5 stars is that the strap is quite stiff.
