Enhance Your Vehicle's Performance with Timken 513106 Wheel Bearing Review

My 2007 BMW Z4 coupe had a lot of road noise after hitting a huge pothole. It turned out that the wheel bearing was defective. I have done many repairs in the shop and at internet prices and have decided to do this work myself. I installed this new bearing and now the machine runs smooth and quiet! High quality spare part!

Only 3 stars as I inspected the inside of the bearing and found it was underlubed and the white grease looked waxy. I removed the old grease and put in some Redline CV2 synthetic grease and it works great in my Boxster. The new bearing doesn't need to be cleaned and lubricated, but I'm glad I did. Should bring many miles of trouble free, smooth driving now!

Quality part, I expect it to last a long time. Installed on a 1993 Saab C900. The dead bearing was so destroyed that the entire wheel wobbled off center. Not your typical creepy noise, but it did cause the brake disc to wiggle with every revolution, squeezing the pads and caliper, making a really loud, embarrassing squeak on the road. They squeezed out the old one, mine stuck very well and took several days to soak with 20 ton press penetrating lube to remove.
