Do not buy! for thrust bearings and seals

I have never had a problem with Timken bearings before. I've used them on all my Chevy and Dodge trucks with no problems. However, this bearing for my wife's 2008 Pontiac G6 lasted LESS THAN 2 MONTHS! I don't know if the quality of Timken has gone down or if I received a defective product but this stock is totally dead. Based on other reviews on this site I will not be buying Timken parts anymore. Next I will choose Moog or AC Delco.

So far so good, best in Heavy & Commercial Vehicle Parts

So far so good. My bushings failed at about 88000, I put them on a 2011 Chevy Malibu about 2000 miles ago. The boxes didn't say Timkin, and one of the hubs wasn't sealed in plastic like the other. I think it might have been a return but I could tell it wasn't installed. Not a problem like some of the other reviews, just make sure you clean the electrical connectors and I lubricate them with lithium grease. Cannot make up the price difference with local car dealerships. Like I said, they haven't

Installed on a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu to replace my front left wheel bearing. Did the trick, not new to auto parts so will update if anything goes wrong with this part. But the guarantee seems great, as does the quality. Update: Purchased August 2013, now (March 2015) the part still works well and has been fitted for approx 40,000 miles. If a part fails, there is an update. UPDATE: 12/29/2015: The part starts to fail, making noise on the road again. Not quite out of service yet, but in the last…

Usually a big fan.

When they work, they look like the typical professional bearings you would expect from Timken. I have used the Timken for all my bearing/hub assembly replacement needs on previous vehicles. This was the first time I have purchased such a product through Revain, which should have nothing to do with my mistakes. The first pair was delivered and carefully assembled. Immediately and every time the car refused the ABS/TC self test and threw all those lightbulbs on the dash. The codes in the block…
