I was disappointed to see the SKS stamp on each bearing. I tried my best to buy USA made Timken bearings. I wrote to clarify this issue but received no reply.
Probably just bad luck, but one of the bearings is making noises 15 months after installation. It's about 15,000 miles. Since you don't understand what the description says AND I see an early failure I will not be reordering this one.
Before I bought it and installed it in my wife's car I studied this particular part a lot. I'm a very experienced shade tree mechanic and with the hydraulic press it still took a while to get it right on both sides. The workmanship and quality of the part exceeded all my expectations
Very hesitant to order the wheel bearing online. I wanted the job done quickly and was concerned that if it didn't fit I might have to send it back and wait for a new one. Everything went well and fitted my 2006 Ford Escape XLT perfectly. I did both the left and front for a fraction of the cost of going to a dealer for repairs.
