Enhance Performance with Timken HA599455L Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly Review

stopped my loud humming. Had all the correct connectors and fit exactly like the OEM. Hope you don't have to change anymore. FYI, the right and left sides of this part are interchangeable. It's good to know that if you replace the wrong side, you can still use the one you removed from the other side! (I had this problem and was advised by a mechanic friend of mine).

These Timken bearing and hub assemblies are a perfect match and quick to assemble. You will need a size 14 external torx socket for the three bolts holding the assembly from the inside of the carrier assembly and a large socket for the axle shaft nut, but other than that the installation is fairly easy. Shipped from Sparks, Nevada and arrived a few days later. I saved a lot of dollars on this purchase.

After 170,000 miles on my Jeep Liberty, the driver's side wheel hub began to fail. I replaced the passenger side at 120,000 km, I think the driver's side was a little luckier. Timken has been around for a long time and these hubs are well made by our northern neighbors in Canada. The replacement hub assembly is PITA. Get it right the first time with a part this quality. If you go cheap with any random brand, expect to replace it again after about 50,000 miles or so.

Excellent replacement. Excellent fit and finish. Clips for ABS sensors also fit perfectly. All the work, removal and installation, took about an hour on each side. These bearings solved my issue of end of font noise growling when coasting/riding at speed. The jeep is now nice and quiet! You get exactly what is shown in the picture, the E14 bolts that attach the hub to the steering knuckle are not included but that doesn't seem to be a problem, the factory bolts were still in good condition…
