Display - Bearings & Seals

These were designed to replace the bearings in the transfer case on an old Willys Jeep. I wanted a quality product and they were better quality than non original ones.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Could have been a newer model

Timken does good and it certainly is good

Matches the Woods L59 cutterblock perfectly and the hardened steel parts proved extremely tough. Timken does good, and it definitely is good.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Timken Brand - USA for Wheel

The item I received is actually a USA made Timken brand. Attention: This is only a roller bearing, not the outer ring of a wheel bearing! I wish I understood that when ordering as I need both parts.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

The perfect bearing for my heavy loads.

I needed this tapered roller for the gear box on my zero turn mower deck. Arrived quickly and well lubricated with no rust. Original Timken bearings. Perfectly mounted on the spindle and put back into service shortly after the bearing arrived. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Expensive

Not Timken Bearing

This bearing was made in China, not by Timken. Timken puts its name on every bearing it makes. They have manufacturing facilities around the world and stamp their name and the country it was made in on the stock. The bearing itself was poorly made. The bearing surfaces were very rough. It was very rough when rolling the bearing and didn't last very long. Revain was very supportive in bringing this item back. The refund was promptly credited to my account.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • old

Got the right stuff

Arrived as advertised and quickly. I have received Timken boxes with Timkin stamped bearings in perfect condition. Measured according to spec. I have used them on my Sportster steerer tube with expected results. Question for colleague: The problem is finding the thinner bearing seals that Harley uses (OEM #48184-01) like the ones you find for trailer bearing assemblies that use this bearing that is thick not thin that a Harley used. The only (so-called) thin equivalent I've found is VTwin OEM…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Disappears
