🔧 Titan 51535 3/16 Double Flaring Tool Review

Using this on a copper nickel brake line will require a bit of experimentation, especially if you are using 3/16. This tool was designed for steel brake lines and will probably work well with them (I haven't tried it) but you will have some wrinkling problems if you don't adjust the length of brake line you put in the tool. The quality of this product as well as the quality of the highlights this thing makes is just unreal. I've used most Flare tools in the low to mid range with the "clamp thing" that uses wing nuts, they all left lines and pinch marks on the line and even some of the ends didn't look concentric. I've even seen the brake line slip in the clamps, especially when using stainless steel tubing. I'm a mechanical engineer and currently give this tool 1 STAR but plan to upgrade to 4-5 STARs if and when the seller contacts me to fix TWO issues. First, the two included screws that hold the two halves together are either factory defective or were previously used by someone else. This review relates to the Titan 3/16 tube flaring tool. I just received the tool and had to see how well it would work with my favorite steel/copper-plated-nickel automotive igniter tubes.
