A good appliance is simple

The toaster has common controls and 2 crumb trays in the base, which is also typical for these appliances. The crumb trays can be more convenient when accessed from the front, but to reach them, this toaster must be rotated so the back is facing the user. Excessive heat was not detected on my unit, so I assume a fire hazard is unlikely under normal use, although it's difficult to assess consistency between production units using a single unit. So far there haven't been any major problems.

great grinder! for small appliances

I love this grinder (but I only use it for coffee). It looks stylish, is very quiet (my previous one sounded like a plane taking off, woke everyone up at 6am) and works very well. You just have to count the seconds while it works, after a few trial runs, to get the right grind, from coarse (about 5 seconds) to ultra-fine (15 seconds). Then remove the protective cover and you can lift the stainless steel cup with a grind to tip it into the coffee maker. Easy!

Stops working after 4 weeks - no response from Svs manufacturer and customer.

When we first received this toaster, we were thrilled. Very compact stylish design, even toast pattern, openings wide enough to hold a large bagel. Then, for no reason and with very little wear and tear, BAM refused to "go down" one side of the toaster and turn on the heating mechanisms (which makes sense). That was 4 weeks after receipt. Gevi management asks that you contact them first before contacting Amazon, which is what we did. After 3 days and two more emails still no response. Revain…

Star toaster with all the bells and whistles for bread, bagels and more.

I am a professional home and personal chef and also teach cooking and knife handling skills. I take all my kitchen items, tools, utensils, knives, serving items, other accessories and groceries very seriously.
