Nice simple toaster. It took a little longer to toast a slice of English muffin. Always turn everything I toast to make sure it is toasted evenly. As you can see, it turned out great. Just received and not used yet. Looks very high quality so I don't think there will be any problems. Basically, I wanted to let you know up front that while I like the look itself, the color isn't your everyday red; cherry, caramel apple, etc. It's more of a deep metallic red, which is a very distinctive "self" color. This is the worst toaster I have ever used. Both sides of the bread are different colors. Each side is unevenly toasted with a speckled gradient from dark to light. The same setting produces different results at different times. And the six darkness settings don't seem to scale properly. Setting the value to four burns my toast on one side, but lowering the value doesn't change the bread. On the plus side, it's red and shiny and has the smoothest leverage of any toaster I've tried.
