It helps. It takes a little longer to cook than what we have and you have to pour the exact amount or it will be too small or it will spill over the sides.

Great little waffle maker. I've used it twice so far. If the waffles aren't crispy enough, throw them in the toaster, but I left them in the waffle maker a little longer and felt like they were done right. I'm glad I bought this.

Like the size, it doesn't take up much space. I've used it to make plant-based pancake mixes. It came out fine, just be careful of the amount you pour into the pot. If you water too much it will spill out and you'll have a big mess. A little dirty to clean. I use dry paper first and then a damp cloth.

works great! Bought 3 of these as gifts. he uses 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp batter. Gently smooth the batter in the waffle iron. don't wait for the lights to go out b4 scroll! Set the timer for 2 minutes then flip it over and wait until the steam is almost gone then open it! Perfect waffles.

***UPDATE*** Would not recommend this waffle maker. A little over a year later, he no longer works. Total waste of money and I can't go back. Makes great waffles. I've had this waffle maker for five months now. It's easy to use. It's a bit difficult to clean as the plates don't come out. Overall, this product is worth its price.
