Tobin Stocking Long Holiday Friends Applique Review

This holiday stocking kit was such a delightful project to work on! The felt pieces were cut perfectly and the instructions were easy to follow. The finished product is absolutely adorable and the included hanger makes it easy to display. As my tests showed, this kit is perfect for both beginners and experienced needleworkers. The only downside is that there wasn't an option to personalize the stocking with a name. Overall, a great addition to any Arts and Crafts project collection.

Three stars because Tobin Designs cuts costs by limiting instructions, not stamping all felt pieces, and combining all the colorful beads and sequins in one package so you have to sort everything. . The stocking is really adorable and I'm sure my granddaughter will love it!

Not all colored felts have die cut designs. They are printed on paper which you need to cut out, write the appropriate number on the cut out paper, pin it onto the matching colored felt and then use the cut out paper as a template to cut out the felt. In other stocking sets I've bought in the past, all pieces were die cut with designs cut directly onto all colored felt pieces. The extra paper cutting step was very time consuming and frustrating.
