Comfortable but smelly

Toddlers love these house socks and they fit great. However, they make his feet very smelly. They wash well and if I soak them in an enzyme cleaner before driving them in the car they are clean and not smelly but after a day of wearing them they are smelly again. I think that means we have to wear socks, which we didn't.

Inside just horrible

so everything is fine on the outside. The protector is great. The material is good. But the thin insert going over the hard and bumpy tread is a joke. It's as uncomfortable as cardboard and underneath is a protection of all kinds of plastic protuberances and corners. This, of course, looks very uncomfortable, and only the lower part is thin, but painful. Instead I tried to put in a fluffy lambskin liner to make it more comfortable than walking on rocks.

Pros
  • few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Insanely cool shoes!

I bought these for my 7 year old child. He has big, wide legs. He wears youth size 3. He spends most of his time barefoot and in shoes he only wears minimalist/barefoot shoes. This kept his feet naturally wide with a well splayed toe. The downside to this is that it's hard to find decent, affordable slip-on shoes. Minimal/barefoot style shoes can be expensive and he just needed something with a sole to wear indoors to school. I didn't want anything with heels or extended insoles. And it should…
