I like this brush because it: 1) does its job of cleaning the toilet both in the bowl and under the rim; 2) does not scratch the toilet; 3) fits properly in the bracket; and 4) dries out between uses because it hangs a little over the base of the holder. I ordered a second one but it came without the bottom part of the rim. I sent the seller a photo and he quickly sent a working brush. I will be ordering more for other bathrooms in our house.

I was a bit worried about the rubber cleaning brush instead of the bristles, but I wanted a black one so the bristles wouldn't have rust/hard water stains that look gross, so I set out to get it closed to attempt. I wonder why all the cons? Because my two toilets are expensive and are cleaned once a week. Yes I want softer bristles and I bought two of these and they are great! I think if you are a family of 6 and only clean the bowl once a month you might need more detergent. I have nerve damage, I can't rub hard. I want it to be easy, fast, very clean and dripless. We have just completed a major renovation and installed 2 Toto toilets which have a special 'sani glaze' and therefore require special care. Edited again - October 21st 2018: The brush is still working great after about 15 months, holding up very well - the bristles are not bent or wrinkled like the other types I have always used. UPDATE: Just under a year after purchase the head started to wobble but didn't come off and still works. You have to keep in mind that my husband is damn strong and must have broken something internally during the spa regimen. But at least I have a man who makes toilets! I haven't seen any reviews here that this toilet brush doesn't clean. This is honestly the best toilet brush I've ever used. I find it works great with my Toto toilets. Because of Sanagloss I needed a soft brush. Silicone bristles catch dirt and leave a sparkling clean bowl. The rising arm is great for cleaning under the rim, where many people rarely go like there's nothing underneath. Trust me, there's meanness under the rim.
