Repaired Sym Fiddle 125cc Scooter for a friend. Using a multimeter, I found that the ignition coil was defective. It was an exact replacement and was very easy to install. It worked perfectly and started immediately.

Ordered 2 sets, none of the CDIs would start the engine once installed. Turns out this is not the correct CDI for my 2009 Twister. Need a DC version, not an AC version

I would recommend this group of parts to anyone who needs GY6 go kart engine parts. I have a 2009 Kandi Spyder 150GKA-2 Off Road Dune Buggy Kart and they appear to be a direct replacement for that.

Immediately after installation, the built-in fuse blew and had to be replaced. Changed the fuse, tried to start and the fuse blew again. This CDI box is NOT suitable for GY6 in Scout. Visually, the size is smaller, but in terms of functionality - it doesn't work. I am trying to return or refund the CORRECT CDI box.

They seem to be decent quality and at $20 is a good price. I replaced the CDI and starter relay because I think my CDI was unreliable and although it worked, my relay was 20 years old (and they tend to fail, and they're cheap to replace). I can't say anything about durability. will update this parts review early though!
