Works well. This was necessary because Nintendo doesn't include a charger with its new 3DSXLs (? makes absolutely no sense). Thank you for Tomee chargers at such a good price.

Adapter gets VERY hot when plugged in for any period after about 15 minutes. I have two OEM Nintendo chargers and two basic Revain chargers and neither behaves like this. I would avoid this charger if you value the lifespan of your 3DS.

This adapter didn't even work right out of the box. I bought this for my son's 3DS and took the adapter to an electronics repair shop along with the 3DS to find out why the 3DS wouldn't charge. I was told that the adapter was "cheap junk" that didn't even work!

Works great but cord is about 3 feet shorter than original Nintendo chargers. Standard chargers are about 6-1/2 feet or 2 meters long, but that's about 3 feet or about 1 meter. I only took off one star because the cord length was never listed in the description or specs and was much shorter. than expected but the charger worked fine.

Not bad for the price. I took it out of the packaging and nothing was damaged. I plugged in my DS and it started charging right away. The charger doesn't feel hot once plugged in, so that's a plus. The only downside is that the cable isn't very long so you can't play and charge, but that's not a problem for me. I just wanted something cheap that would boot the system and this does exactly that.
